Film Festivals vary so much from place to place, that each time I attend one, I never know what to expect. Sometimes they offer a festival pass, a couch to crash on, meals & accomodation, or the rare all expenses paid. But, I've found that you'll always find some great experiences if you can afford to make the trip. These are a few of the fesivals that I have been able to attend with my films in the past few years.
